Feb. 4 Men's Basketball Recap

Tulsa extended its win streak to seven games with a 79-70 victory over Marshall to move the Golden Hurricane into second place in the C-USA standings. With the win, TU head coach Doug Wojcik ties Clarence Iba as the school's all-time winningest coach. East Carolina picked up its third win in a row by outscoring Rice, 82-68. UAB won its third-straight game on the road, edging UTEP 61-60. UCF earned its first win in four tries at Moody Coliseum, defeating SMU by a score of 59-52. Tulane freshman Ricky Tarrant led the Green Wave again with a game-high 21 points in a 75-54 victory over Houston. Memphis stepped out of conference play and defeated Xavier 72-68, at FedExForum. The Tigers were down by 11 points before going on a 17-1 and eventually securing the win.

Feb. 4 Women's Basketball Recap

Memphis placed three players in double-figures as the Tigers handed UCF (10-12, 5-5 C-USA) a 65-57 loss on Play 4Kay Day at FedExForum, Saturday. Junior F NICOLE DICKSON paced the Tigers with a team-high 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including a pair of treys.
