Birmingham, AL - Members of the UAB spirit squad and young fans in attendance at the UAB vs. Memphis Volleyball match on September 30th were participants in an entertaining game of "Blaze Says" during intermission to promote the Worldwide Day of Play. UAB's participation was sponsored by Conference USA's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and was one of several hundred events held simultaneously around the country as part of the Nickelodeon Network's Let's Just Play Across America event. Let's Just Play is a national grassroots campaign aimed at getting kids to engage in a more active and healthy lifestyle.
