Erika Amstadt Hirschfield is currently a creative services consultant for Conference USA. With more than 15 years experience in collegiate athletics, Amstadt Hirschfield provides the league a variety of multimedia services including publication design and production, website development and content, branding, marketing, external initiatives, media/championship events and operations, championships branding and signage and other special projects.
Amstadt Hirschfield served as the Director of Communications/Creative Services for Conference USA since the league began in 1995. She also worked as Director of Communications (1993-95) and as a Media Relations Assistant (1992-93) for the Great Midwest Conference.
Prior to working at the conference level, Amstadt Hirschfield was a Graduate Assistant in the sports information office at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism (1990) and a master's degree in Sports Administration (1992) from Illinois.
Amstadt Hirschfield resides in Schererville, Ind., with husband Dale and children Madeline and Alex.
