Callie Hubbell joined the Conference USA staff in August 2006 as Coordinator of Student Services. Hubbell provides support and assistance to all academic initiatives and also administers the academic awards program. In addition, she serves as the primary liaison to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and provides assistance for the Sport Services staff.
Hubbell brings a wide variety of experience to the conference office. She previously worked for league member Rice as an academic coordinator where she assisted student-athletes with academic decisions as well as running the institutions tutor program. During her three plus years in Houston, she also worked for Let It Fly Events, LLC. as a sales manager and as an intern for the Houston Rockets.
Hubbell spent most of 2002 working for the Women's Sports Foundation in New York, where she helped coordinate the Annual Salute to Women in Sports Awards Dinner among other various duties.
From the September of 1999 through July of 2001, Hubbell served as the assistant women's tennis coach at Texas A&M where she earned a Master of Science in Sports Management and was named Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Assistant Coach of the Year in 2001.
A native of Beaumont, Texas, Hubbell attended Vanderbilt and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. While in Nashville, she was a member of the Commodores women's tennis team, serving as captain from 1997-99. She was named to the All-SEC academic team from 1996-99.
The former Callie Creighton married Cody Hubbell on Oct 8, 2005 and the couple resides in Addison.
