Monay Wallin began her work with Conference USA in March 2004 coordinating the office relocation from Chicago, Illinois, to its current headquarters in Irving, Texas, in conjunction with the conference's recent re-alignment.

Wallin previously worked as a college recruiter for MCI Worldcom before finding her way into college athletics with the Big 12 Conference in 2002. Wallin's duties at the Big 12 included coordinating CCA meetings and the summer rules workshop for compliance. She also assisted with office management and with the league's annual football championship game and basketball tournaments.

Wallin was recently promoted to her current position of Director of Events in July 2006 and her responsibilities with C-USA include managing all aspects of the league's events, hospitality, annual meetings and assisting with office management. In addition, Wallin also serves as the liaison for the alumni directors from the twelve member institutions.

A native from Wichita, Kan., Wallin earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Baylor University.
