Lourie Leads UAB at Lady Seahawk Invitational; Blazers In Seventeenth

WALLACE, N.C - Junior Heather Lourie shot rounds of 82-78/160 after the first day of the Lady Seahawk Invitational at the par 72, 5,990 River Landing Country Club in Wallace, N.C. Lourie is tied for 28th spot, 15 strokes back of leader, Kari Hilton (72-73/145) of Charleston Southern.

The Blazers shot rounds of 340-325/665 to finish the first day’s play in 16th place. Charleston Southern leads the tournament after firing rounds of 314-301/615.

The final round will be played Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. EST.
