Nimkhum earned his career best finish by placing third at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate to help lead the Golden Knights to a runner-up finish. Men's Golfer of the Week
Sonny Nimkhum - UCF (Senior, Cerritos, Calif.)
Nimkhum earned his first C-USA Golfer of the Week honor as he recorded the best finish of his career with a third-place showing at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. He finished at 1-under-par (211) and was one of only three players in the field of 75 to break par. He shot rounds of 1-under-par 70 and then back-to-back even-par 71s. His play also paced UCF to its best finish of the year, tying South Carolina for runner-up honors in the 15-team field that included 11 teams in the top 50 according to the latest Golfweek rankings.

Women's Co-Golfers of the Week
Lene Krog - East Carolina (Freshman, Leir, Norway)

Krog posted her fourth top-5 finish in seven tournaments after firing a final round 71 at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic to earn a share of fourth place and her second C-USA Golfer of the Week honor. She finished in front of 23 of the top-50 collegiate golfers ranked by Golfweek, including six of the top-25. Her 71 was the fifth sub-par round of her collegiate career. She has been ranked nationally by both Golfweek and Golfstat this season.

Christina Wentworth - UAB (Freshman, Macon, Ga.)
Wentworth became the first UAB freshman to capture medalist honors, winning the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational in Crystal River, Fla. She shot rounds of 77-79 to edge a pack of four golfers by a single stroke. Wentworth's win anchored a third place finish for UAB -- its best of the season.
