The USF women's golf team shot a 306, the best final round score among 13 teams, to finish third in the Ryder Florida Collegiate Championships at Don Shula Resort in Miami Lakes. The Bulls shot a three-round 918 to finish 18 shots behind Florida State and seven shots behind second place Florida.

For USF, Kelly Martin, Fany Schaeffer and Jill Crowe all finished among the top 14, including Martin's tie for eighth place. But it was Schaeffer who proved pivotal in the final round 306, posting a 70 today, just two days following a disappointing 86 to open the tournament. Even with the 86, Schaeffer finished in a tie for 12th. Crowe finished 14th.
