Tate medaled for the second time in three tournaments, leading Memphis to a second-place tie at the Lady Panther Intercollegiate on Tuesday. Tate garnered individual medalist honors after defeating Kentucky's Ali Kicklighter in a playoff as both finished with a two-round score of 148. The win is the third career victory for the New Zealand native who also medaled at the Pat Bradley Championship in February and earned C-USA Golfer of the Week honors on March 1. Tate has finished in the top four in three-straight tournaments and in the top eight in five of her seven 2005-06 tournaments.
