TCU's BROOKE TULL is the Conference USA Women's April Golfer of the Month. Tull posted her fifth straight Top 20 finish when she tied for 15th at the Ping/ASU Invitational. She compiled a career-best 54-hole total of 222 (74-75-73) for her seventh Top-20 finish this season. Of those seven top 20 finishes, three are in the Top 10. All 15 teams at the Ping/ASU Invitational are ranked among the top 30 in the nation, as No. 3 Tulsa took home the team title.

TCU's BRET GUETZ is Conference USA's April Men's Golfer of the Month. Guetz fired an ASU Thunderbird/Savane Invitational record 16-under par 200 en route to the tournament title. He is just the third individual in the last 14 years to finish the prestigious event with a three-day total of 202 or better. He is just the second Horned Frog in the last four years to win a tournament title, as he shot three straight sub-70 rounds (68-65-67). His three-round total is a school record and helped TCU to a fifth place finish in the 16-team field.

The Conference USA Men's and Women's Golf Championships get underway this week. The women's championship takes place April 19-21 at Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss. The men's championship runs April 22-24 at The Club at Hidden Creek in Navarre, Fla. Here are some of C-USA's top golf performers for the month of April



Men
CHARLOTTE - SCOTT McNEIL shot a career-best 217 (+1) to place tied for ninth at the Wofford Invitational. McNeil shot 73-71-73 over the par 72 course to post the 49ers top 54-hole score of the spring semester and the second best 54-hole score for the 49ers this season (fall and spring). A first-year player with the 49ers, his 71 is his first round under par this season.

EAST CAROLINA - ADAM HOWELL recorded his first collegiate Top 10 finish at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate as he carded a 70-71=141. He led the Pirates as he tied for seventh overall. Howell recorded a personal-best 68 at the Wofford Invitational.

TULANE - CHRIS WHEELER fired rounds of 74-71-73 at the Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate in Auburn, Ala. This was his third Top 10 and seventh Top 20 finish of the season.

UAB - GRAEME MCDOWELL fired three straight rounds of subpar golf at the Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational to finish in fifth place among all individuals. He finished at 68-71-67 for a 10-under par 206 total.

Women
EAST CAROLINA- ADRIENNE MILLICAN had two top five finishes in the month of April. The Pirates finished among the top 10 in all of their spring tournaments and among the top five in three of those events. .

UAB - BROOKE MANGAN finished tied for 26th at the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic on April 4-5. She shot rounds of 74-79-80 for a 233 total. As a team, UAB placed 10th.
