CHICAGO- The Conference USA Women's Golf Championship takes place April 19-21 at Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss. With four teams ranked among the Top 44 in the nation according to Golfweek, this year's event should be as competitive as ever.

TCU's BROOKE TULL enters the tournament as one of the hottest golfers in the nation. Conference USA's April Golfer of the Month enters the league championship with five straight Top 20 finishes, which most recently include a tie for 15th at the Ping/ASU Invitational. She compiled a career-best 54-hole total of 222 (74-75-73) for her seventh Top 20 finish of the season overall. All 15 teams at the Ping/ASU Invitational were ranked among the Top 30 in the nation.

Tull and her TCU teammates are making their Conference USA debut, as is East Carolina. The Pirates are paced by freshman ADRIENNE MILLICAN and sophomore JESSICA KRASNY. However, the league also returns 13 of its top 20 finishers from a year ago. Tulane's CAROLIN LANDMANN, (76.08) Memphis' MEAGHAN FRANCELLA (76.24) and Louisville's CINDY PASECHNIK (76.50) each lead their respective clubs, while South Florida's FANY SCHAEFFER, Southern Miss' OFELIA LOPEZ, UAB's BROOKE MANGAN and Cincinnati's ANDREA WILLIAMS will also contend for honors.

Tee times get underway at 8 a.m. each day on April 19, 20 and 21. For updated results throughout the championship, please refer to Conference USA's official web site, www.c-usasports.com

CHICAGO- The Conference USA Golf Championship takes place April 22-24 at The Club at Hidden Creek in Navarre, Fla. Houston is the five-time defending C-USA champion, but with UAB and TCU each ranked among the top 30 teams in the nation, and four individuals ranked among the top 50, this year's championship should be as competitive as ever.

TCU and UAB have been two of the most consistent teams throughout the spring. UAB's GRAEME McDOWELL, a finalist for The Ben Hogan Award, has won five tournaments out of 10 and has a 60.8 scoring average. He currently ranks first in the Golfstat Cup Standing, which is awarded to the collegiate golfer with the lowest scoring average over the year and second in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index Rankings. TCU's BRET GUETZ earned C-USA's April Golfer of the Month honors after firing an ASU Thunderbird/Savane Invitational record 16-under par 200 en route to the tournament title. He is just the third individual in the last 14 years of the prestigious event to score a 202 or better.

In addition to McDowell and Guetz, there are three returning all-conference performers: Charlotte's MICHAEL SHAMP, Southern Miss' TIM YELVERTON, Houston's BRAD MCINTOSH. Cincinnati's NEIL LYKINS, DePaul's DREW MAYHEW, East Carolina's JONATHAN HILL and JASON HARRIS, South Florida's TELE WIGHTMAN and TCU's ANDY DOEDEN and ADAM RUBINSON are among the many golfers who will contend for all-league laurels.

The first tee time on April 22 and 23 is 8 a.m. EST, while Wednesday's competition is slated to begin at 7:30 a.m. For updated results throughout the championship, please refer to Conference USA's official web site, www.c-usasports.com
