DADE CITY, FL -- The University of South Florida women’s golf team made up the three shots it stood behind TCU in the Conference USA Women’s Golf Championships at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club today and heads into Wednesday’s final round tied for first with the Horned Frogs at 610. East Carolina is in third place, six shots behind the leaders in the nine-team field.

USF’s Jill Crowe shot a 72, just the second score of par in the entire field through the first 36 holes, to join a four-way tie atop the individual leaderboard at 150. Crowe is joined by D’Rae Ward (TCU), Marianne Ruud (Memphis) and Margaret Mitchell (East Carolina).

The nine teams play the final round Wednesday with tee time starting at 7:45 a.m. on the 6,105-yard tract.
