Lightning Delays Second Round of NCAA Women's Golf Championships

East Carolina women's golfer Adrienne Millican is currently tied for 42nd place in a lightning delayed second round at the 2004 Women' NCAA Golf Championships. The tournament is being held at the par-72, 6,215-yard Grand National Lake Course in Opelika, AL.

Millican currently sits at three-over par for the tournament after a birdie on the par-5, fourth hole, before second round action was cancelled due to lightning in the area. She started the second round on the back nine posting a one-under 35 with birdies on the 12th and 16th hole, but gave one stroke back with a bogey on No. 15. At the turn, Millican gave four strokes back on the second and third holes after registering a triple and double bogey.
