Women
Kelly Lagedrost, Sr., Brooksville, Fla.
South Florida's Kelly Lagedrost finished third in the Beacons Woods Invitational with rounds of 73-74-75. She finished the tournament with a total of 222 and led the Bulls to a first place team finish. This is the second straight year South Florida has won the Beacon Woods Invitational.
Men
Graeme McDowell, So., Portrush, N. Ireland
UAB's Graeme McDowell played in four tournaments during the month of October finishing in the top-10 in three of them. He finished tied for third in the VCU Fall Preview, shooting a three-under par total (66-72-75). He also finished tied for third at the Pacific Invitational in Stockton, Calif. at six-under par (69-71-70). His scoring average for October was 70.9, with his lowest round being 66.
