USF Men Win 6-1 At Florida State

The USF men's tennis team, ranked 33rd in the national ITA poll, handed Florida State a 6-1 loss today in Tallahassee.

USF dropped only one point, that coming at number six singles, where FSU freshman, Alex Herrera defeated USF's Jorge Escallon.

The Bulls upped their record to 14-6, while the Seminoles are now 9-12. The Bulls close their regular season, Friday, with a home match against UCF, and then look forward to the Conference USA and NCAA Tournaments.

The afternoon began with the doubles competition with USF taking the point, with wins at numbers one and three.

At number one singles, USF's Paco Antelo, ranked 52nd in the nation, looked impressive in a 6-4, 6-4 win over Xavier Luscan.
