Charlotte Women's Tennis Blanks Elon

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte 49ers women's tennis team defeated Elon, 7-0. The 49ers won all six of the singles matches in straight sets. Charlotte also won all three of the doubles matches.

In number one doubles, Charlotte's Alice Hansen and Laura Swain defeated Elon's Fulmer and Cade, 8-1. In number two doubles, Charlotte's Jana Cucciniello and Jennifer Hatch defeated Elon's Rhoads and Kinnaird, 8-1. In number three doubles, Charlotte's Courtney Clifford and Stacie Luders defeated Elon's Pulupa and Fisher, 9-7.

Charlotte won all six of the singles matches in straight sets. In number one singles, Charlotte's Swain defeated Elon's Fulmer, 6-0, 6-0. In number two singles, Charlotte's Hansen defeated Elon's Pulupa, 6-0, 7-6. In number three singles, Charlotte's Cucciniello defeated Elon's Rhoads, 6-1, 6-0. In number four singles, Charlotte's Hatch defeated Elon's Kinnaird, 6-3, 6-1. In number five singles, Charlotte's Lauren Hastings defeated Elon's Cade, 6-3, 6-3. In number six singles, Charlotte's Luders defeated Elon's Fisher, 7-6, 6-1.
