Uli Kiendl of USF helped his team come very close to upsetting the nation’s top ranked Baylor in Waco, Texas. Playing at No. 1 singles, Kiendl defeated No. 21 Lars Poerschke of Baylor, 6-3, 7-6(5). Poerschke was the highest-ranked opponent Kiendl has defeated all season. The senior and all-conference performer has compiled a 7-8 singles record on the season. The undefeated Bears proved to be too much for the Bulls, defeating USF in a close match, 4-3. USF (8-12) returns to action April 16 at No. 72 William & Mary.
