Houston Head Coach John Severance

On clinching the doubles point:
"I was very pleased about how we competed today and I'm happy that we came out with a win. The No. 3 doubles played one heck of a match. Getting up 7-2 helped keep the momentum up for the entire match."

On your upperclassmen's performance:
"I'm happy that the two seniors came away with key points at No. 4 and No. 6. Yolandi (Terblanche, No. 6) came off first with a win, and then Kami (Miller, No. 4) clinched her match. And then Loli (Gomez, No. 2) played her best match this season and the conference championship is definitely the best time to do that."
