TCU’s FABRIZIO SESTINI has been named Conference USA Player of the Year, while Tulane head coach ROBERT KLEIN earned the league’s Coach of the Year honors for the third straight season after directing the Green Wave to a third consecutive C-USA championship on April 24 in Louisville. Charlotte’s ROY SICHEL has been named C-USA Freshman of the Year. The awards were selected in a vote of the league’s 12 head coaches.
A three-time second team All-Conference honoree, Sestini compiled a 20-13 overall record playing No. 1 singles for the Horned Frogs. He is currently the top-ranked singles player in the league at No. 29. He has also been ranked in doubles this season at No. 13, with teammate RAFAEL ABREU, who earned third team honors.

Tulane has enjoyed seven appearances in the C-USA championship finals, earning a total of five titles (2005, 2004, 2003, 2001 and 1997). Klein was recently named the league’s Coach of the Decade for C-USA men’s tennis. The Green Wave will make its ninth straight appearance in the NCAA Championship.
