Four C-USA Tennis Programs Named ITA All-Academic

Four Conference USA tennis programs were named to the 2006 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Teams today. Both Memphis programs received the honor, while Rice and SMU were recognized on the women's side respectively. A team-wide grade point average of 3.2 or better is required to receive the award from the ITA, which is the governing body of collegiate tennis. In addition to the team award, individuals were also honored that lettered on their respective team, carried a 3.5 or better GPA and have been enrolled at their present institution for at least two years.
