Liburd has been a stellar student-athlete in track and field over the past three seasons. She has been a NCAA regional qualifier in the long jump for the past three seasons, and has the potential of becoming a four-time regional qualifier in the long jump during the outdoor season. She holds the Southern Miss indoor record in the long jump at 20'5.75" and the outdoor record in the long jump at 21'8.75". She participates in the 55 Meters (indoor), 60 Meters (indoor), long jump (indoor and outdoor),100 Meters (outdoor), and 200 Meters (outdoor). She has incredible athleticism and is a hardworking student-athlete who has placed many times in all of her events. Liburd, just last year alone, was a three-time track Conference USA Female Athlete of the Week, and one time Southern Miss Student-Athlete of the Week. Last year in the fall she made the Dean's List and in the spring made the AD Honor Roll. Liburd participates in an annual track community outreach program every year and also participates in the Christian Services Soup Kitchen. |
