C-USA Cross Country Notebook

Tulsa All-American Alex Becker and fellow male teammate John Beattie, C-USA 2007 Male Newcomer of the Year, receive their first Athlete of the Week honor of the season after stellar performances at the Notre Dame Invitational.

All-American Alex Becker and C-USA's 2007 Individual Champion and Athlete of the Year took a third-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational after clocking in at 16:36 on the 5K course. This is the seniors fourth career Athlete of the Week honor.

Jr., Southampton, England
Beattie, C-USA's 2007 Newcomer of the Year, led the Golden Hurricane to a second-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational after finishing seventh in the 5-mile run with a time of 23:43. This is the junior's first Athlete of Week honor.
