Kelly Young of UTEP and Miles Harris of UCF have been named this week's Conference USA Cross Country Athletes of the Week. Young clocked a winning time of 18:13 at the Arizona State Invitational, while Harris placed 18th in rough weather conditions with a time 28:01.77 at the FLRunners.com Invitational.

Kelly Young was the top finisher at the Arizona State Invitational as she clocked a winning and season-best 5K time of 18:13. The victory also marked Young's second individual titles this season. She picked up the first at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational three weeks ago. The senior led UTEP to a second-place finish out of 12 teams with 59 points.

Freshman, Newberry, Fla.
Despite a downpour at mile three of the 8K men's race, freshman Miles Harris finished 18th in a time of 28:01.77. He was the lone Knights' entry for the men at the FLRunners.com Invitational at Chain of Lakes Park in windy and rainy conditions Friday.
