C-USA Cross Country Athletes Of The Week for October 10

Women
THERESE MARU, TULANE
Maru placed second in the Auburn Bank Invitational and set a new school record for the 5,000-meter course. She finished the race with a time of 16:34.36 marking the fastest time in the conference for the 5,000-meter race this season. She led Tulane to a fourth place finish overall.

AIMEE WALTHER, SAINT LOUIS
Walther became the first-ever individual champion in school history by placing first in the Saluki Invitational with a school-record time of 18:08 over the 5,000-meter course. She led Saint Louis to a third place finish overall.

Men
CHRIS REIS, CINCINNATI
Reis was the top finisher for the Bearcats in the Notre Dame Invitational, which included six top 25 teams. He finished the 8,000-meter course 24th with a time of 24:46 and helped Cincinnati to a 20th place finish overall.
