MALE
Pablo Solares, Rice, Sr., Richardson, Texas Pablo Solares led the Rice Owls to a second-place finish at the Arizona State Invitational Saturday. Solares clocked 24:40 over the 8K course to finish as runner-up behind Arizona's 2005 Pac-10 champion and NCAA 10th-placer, Robert Cheseret, who won in 24:24.

Jenny Clausen paced the Golden Knights to a sixth-place finish at the Disney Classic and Disney's Wide World of Sports on Saturday. The freshman crossed the line in 12th place with a time of 18:31.20. The effort moves her to fifth all-time at UCF in the 5K.
