C-USA All-Access Launches New Streaming Multimedia Player

IRVING, Texas - Conference USA's official athletics website, www.conferenceusa.com, has launched an enhanced and upgraded C-USA All-Access multimedia player in partnership with CBS College Sports. The new C-USA All-Access is powered by Microsoft's Silverlight technology, providing increased web browser compatibility and a redesigned user-friendly, state-of-the-art interface. Those users whose computers do not have Silverlight, which was utilized by NBC during its internet coverage of the Olympics in Beijing, will be required to perform a quick one-time download of Silverlight before accessing the new video player. The enhanced C-USA All-Access gives fans the highest-quality streaming experience and the most online video coverage of Conference USA championships. The new multimedia player also offers an improved search engine, which allows users to quickly locate videos they are interested in. Fans can search by sport, type of video and date to easily navigate to the newest content. C-USA All-Access is an online service that offers live and on-demand streaming video of Conference USA championship events, as well as other features highlighting C-USA teams and student-athletes. Streaming video of live championship action across several sports will once again be available via C-USA All-Access throughout the 2008-09 academic year.
