A pair of Cincinnati Bearcat seniors brought home Male and Female Athlete of the Week honors, as senior Eric Bair helped UC to a second-place team finish and Ruth Limo captured her third individual title of the season at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships.

Female Athlete of the Week
Ruth Limo – Cincinnati (Sr., Mosoriot, Kenya/Univ. of Toledo)
Limo captured her third individual title of the season taking the top spot at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship. Limo’s winning time of 18:08.8 on the 5K-course helped the Bearcats to an eighth-place team finish. The senior has finished in the top three in all five of her races this season.
Male Athlete of the Week
Eric Bair – Cincinnati (Sr., Canton, Ohio)
Bair placed ninth at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship to help lead Cincinnati to a second-place team finish. The senior covered the 8K course in 26:18 to finish inside the Top 10.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Just five women’s cross country teams and four men’s teams were in action over the weekend, which included TULANE and SOUTHERN MISS (women), who raced on Columbus Day at the Auburn Invitational on Monday morning ... A good number of Conference USA teams took the weekend off before competing in this Saturday’s NCAA Pre-Nationals hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind ... CINCINNATI, CHARLOTTE, LOUISVILLE, MARQUETTE and USF will field men’s and women’s teams on the course where the NCAA Championships for men and women will be held on Monday, Nov. 22 ... DE PAUL, who also took the weekend off, will return to action at the Penn State National Invitational on Saturday ... The HOUSTON men’s and women’s teams will join both TCU squads and the UAB women in competing at the Arkansas Chili Pepper Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday ... Both SAINT LOUIS teams will be at the Evansville Invitational on Saturday, while the SOUTHERN MISS women will race at the Mississippi State Short-Course Invitational in Starkville on Saturday ... MEMPHIS and TULANE are the only C-USA squads not racing this weekend ... The Tiger men will return to action at the SEMO Invitational in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on Saturday, Oct. 23 ... The Memphis women's team and both Tulane squads will not race again until the C-USA Cross Country Championships hosted by DePaul on Saturday, Oct. 30, in Palos Hills, Ill.
WOMEN
Senior RUTH LIMO led CINCINNATI to an eighth-place team finish at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships as she claimed her third individual title of the season ... Limo covered the 5K course in 18:08 ... Junior KAREN BERLING took 19th finishing just less than a minute behind Limo in 19:06 ... For MEMPHIS, sophomore DANIELE RIENDEAU was the team’s top finisher for the third-consecutive race, placing 12th overall at the Saluki Invitational hosted by Southern Illinois on Saturday. Riendeau clocked a personal-best time of 18:23.65 ... SAINT LOUIS finished 11th at the Saluki Invitational, which was three spots behind the Tigers. ANISSA REYNOLDS was the first Billiken to finish, taking 50th in a time of 19:43.43 ... SOUTHERN MISS placed eighth, while TULANE finished one spot behind the Golden Eagles in ninth at the Auburn Invitational on Monday ... Golden Eagle senior CASSANDRA GOODSON was the top finisher among both C-USA teams competing taking 10th place with a time of 18:46.00 ... Tulane freshman RACHEL BRYAN led the Green Wave with a 16th-place finish in 19:00.99.

Senior ERIC BAIR finished ninth overall at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships to help propel CINCINNATI to a second-place team finish ... Bair finished the 8K course in 26:18, just five seconds ahead of teammate KEVIN SCHWARZ, who took 11th … MEMPHIS competed for the first time this season at the Saluki Invitational finishing in 10th place overall ... MATE NEMETH and MICHAEL MENTZ finished 16th and 17th, respectively posting times of 26:25.81 and 26:28.08 ... JOE PORTER posted his strongest performance of the season as SAINT LOUIS finished eighth at the Saluki Invitational ... Porter completed the 8K course in 26:30.65, which was good for 18th overall … PAUL LEMON was the next Billiken finisher recording a time of 27:11.71 to place 35th ... TULANE raced without junior PHILIP AAGAARD, the reigning C-USA Athlete of the Week, at the Auburn Invitational and finished 16th overall ... The Green Wave were paced by sophomore TYLER CHAPMAN, who finished in 59th in the 185-runner field.
