Southern Miss Wraps Up Cross Country Season at NCAA South Regional

Southern Miss women’s cross country team wrapped up its season, competing in the NCAA South Regional Saturday.

The Golden Eagles finished 17th with 416 points. The University of Tennessee claimed the team title, scoring 71 points with three runners finishing in the top 10.

Cassandra Goodson was the top finisher for the Golden Eagles, crossing the finish line 55th overall with a time of 22:35.91. Lydiah Chepkwony was 62nd overall with a time of 22:40.16, followed by Becca Wiseman (91st) with a time of 23:28.50, Keri White was 97th with a time of 23:37.41, Alisha Edwads was 111th with a time of 23:57.59, Karen Tankersley was 122nd with a time of 24:10.24 and Liz Palmer was 136th with a time of 24:38.68.
