ECU Awarded 2002 NCAA Southeast Regional Cross Country Championship

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Women’s track Head Coach Matt Munson announced today that the NCAA has awarded East Carolina the 2002 Southeast Regional Cross Country Championship meet.

The meet, which will be held at Lake Kristi, will advance the top teams and individuals to the NCAA Championship meet.

Teams and individual runners from schools in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky will compete in the regional meet.

East Carolina was awarded the race at this year’s regional championship held at Furman University.
