After posting a complete-game shutout at No. 1 Tulane, TCU junior RHP Lance Broadway has been named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row and fourth time this season. Hitter of the Week honors went to senior C Brad Willcutt of Southern Miss who had five doubles, two home runs and eight RBI in four road games last week.

Willcutt batted .474 (9-for-19) in four road games last week with a 1.053 slugging percentage. He tied school and conference records with four doubles in Saturday’s win at Houston and finished the week with five doubles, two home runs and eight RBI. Willcutt had at least one hit and one RBI in each game last week and also scored a total of eight runs.

Broadway posted a complete-game shutout at No.1 Tulane on Friday night, holding the top-hitting team in Conference USA to just four hits. He posted his fourth consecutive double-digit strikeout game, fanning 10 Green Wave batters, while walking just one. It was the seventh time this season that Broadway has fanned 10 or more batters in a game and it marked his fourth complete game of the year.
