HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Four Golden Eagle baseball players, Daniel Best, Toddric Johnson, Marc Maddox and Scott Massey have signed professional contracts and will report to their respective teams this week.

Best and Maddox will report to Idaho Falls, Idaho, to play for the Kansas City Royals' Rookie League team, the Idaho Falls Chukars on Thursday, and Johnson will leave Wednesday and play for the Oakland A's rookie league team, the Vancouver Canadians. Scott Massey already reported to the Pirates training center in Florida and will be evaluated before being sent to his team next week.
