The Bearcats posted a school-record 35 wins, improving its victory total for the fourth straight season under head coach BRIAN CLEARY. The 35 wins also gave Cincinnati back-to-back seasons with 30 wins for the first time in the school's 116-year history. The Bearcats defeated UAB twice and Southern Miss once to reach the championship game of the Conference USA Tournament. It was the school's first trip to a tournament final since reaching the Great Midwest Conference championship game in 1995. Junior OF MATT SINGER is the school's all-time leader in doubles (54), home runs (40) and RBI (177). With 19 homers this season, junior 3B KEVIN YOUKILIS has broken Singer's single-season home run record. Fourty-one of Youkilis' 77 hits have been for extra bases, as he also has 21 doubles to go with one triple. Youkilis and junior 1B CRAIG TEWES have started all 172 games of their Bearcat careers, while Singer has started all but one. Junior LHP CURTUS MOAK earned all-tournament honors after posting a 0.90 ERA in three appearances, while becoming just the second pitcher in tournament history to post two wins in a tournament. Moak finished the season at 7-3 with an ERA of 1.54 and 9 saves.
