DANIEL BOYD hit .538 (7-13) in three games at the C-USA Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament Team. The junior 1B is listed on six USF career all-time top 10 lists, including No. 1 on the hit by pitch list (47), No. 3 on the home runs list (35), No. 5 on the RBI list (161), No. 6 on the doubles list (43) and the runs scored list (160) and No. 7 on the hits (222). All-C-USA third baseman MIKE EYLWARD joined Boyd on the All-C-USA first-team as well as on three career hitting lists. Eylward is No. 3 on the RBI list (170), No. 5 on the home run list (33), and No. 6 on the doubles list (43). Right-handers JOHN VIGUE, a junior, and JOHN GORHAM, a sophomore, accounted for 20 of USF's 29 victories with each winning 10 games. This was the first season since 1996 that the Bulls had a pair of 10-game winners (Scott Glaser, 12, and Mark Roberts, 11). Vigue and Gorham are tied with six others on the single-season list at No. 5. Gorham's 114 1/3 innings pitched rank No. 9 on the single-season list and his 92 strikeouts rank No. 11. DAVID RICHTBERG'S seven saves are the most at USF since 1997 and rank No. 10 on the USF single-season list. JOHNNY RABURN'S 58 walks rank No. 3 on the USF single-season list and his 126 career walks rank No. 7. The Bulls stole 104 bases on the year, the fifth most ever in a single-season at USF. As a team, the Bulls .309, the eight-highest team batting average ever. Mike Cunningham hit .338 -- the fourth-highest average in the lineup -- and was named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team. The Bulls have placed at least one player on the All-Freshman team for five straight seasons.
