Tulane senior Chris Moore earns his first Conference USA Player of the Week honor for games through Feb. 17, as selected by a panel of media covering the league. Moore averaged 19.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per contest, while averaging 32 minutes, as Tulane improved to 13-11 overall with a pair of wins this week.

Moore led Tulane to a 2-0 record last week in C-USA play with a home win over UCF, 86-80, and a road victory at Marshall, 73-65. The McKinney, Texas, native averaged 19.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per contest, while averaging 32 minutes per game for the week. He connected on 13-of -19 (.684) field goal attempts, including 6 of 10 (.600) from behind the arc. Against UCF, Moore scored a career-high 22 points, hitting 8-of-10 (.800) field goals and 3-of-5 (.600) 3-pointers. He proved to be a difference maker in the second half, scoring 10 points on three straight possessions, during a 16-5 run late in the game that put away the Golden Knights. Moore moved into sole possession of third place on the school's career 3-point field goal list (132). Earlier in the week at Marshall, the senior scored 17 points and tallied four assists and three steals. Moore delivered a late blow when he drained his third 3-pointer of the game that put Tulane in the lead 60-58 with 4:26 remaining and TU never trailed again. He connected on 5-of-9 field goal attempts (.560) and 3-of-5 (.600) 3-point tries. It is his first Conference USA Player of the Week honor.
