Penn State Added to UC's 2005 Grid Slate

The University of Cincinnati has added Penn State to its 2005 football schedule. The Bearcats will visit the Nittany Lions on Sept. 10, 2005.

The game will be the ninth meeting between UC and PSU. Penn State has won seven of the previous contests. UC defeated PSU, 14-3, at State College to open the 1983 football season. The teams last met in 1992 when Penn State helped reopen renovated Nippert Stadium.

The addition of the Penn State game completes the Bearcats' 2005 schedule. Cincinnati hosts Eastern Michigan and visits the Miami RedHawks in its other nonleague games and will play eight Conference USA contests.
