IRVING, Texas - Houston's Ben Moser and Tulsa's Nicolas Geyger share this week's Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week award after earning co-medalist honors at the National Invitational Tournament. Both golfers shot an eight-under par 208 in the field of 81 golfers. Kelly Fuchik of Tulsa is the Women's Golfer of the Week. The freshman finished in a fourth-place tie in a field of 105 golfers at the UALR Women's Golf Classic. She carded rounds of 72-74-78 for her best finish of the season to lead the Golden Hurricane to its second-straight team championship.

NICOLAS GEYGER - Tulsa

Geyger won his second tournament of the season and the fourth of his career as he tied for first-place at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Arizona, at the Omni Tucson National Golf Course. Geyger shared medalist honors with Houston's Ben Moser. He carded rounds of 69-68-71 for an 8-under par 208 score in a field of 81 golfers. This is Geyger's fourth career weekly honor, his second in 2007-08 (Oct. 31).

BEN MOSER - Houston

Moser tied for medalist honors at the National Invitational Tournament with Tulsa's Nicolas Geyger. The junior transfer fired an 8-under-par 208 to set personal bests after 18, 36 and 54 holes since joining the UH squad. His score tied for the lowest round by any Cougar this season. He shot 7-under-par during the final two rounds to make a big move to the top of the leaderboard. Moser joined Houston senior Jordan Irwin as the only Cougars to capture medalist honors in 2007-08. The weekly honor is the first of Moser's career.

KELLY FUCHIK - Tulsa

Fuchik finished in a fourth-place tie in a field of 105 golfers at the UALR Women's Golf Classic this week in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The freshman carded rounds of 72-74-78 for an 8-over par 224. The finish was her best of the season, and her third top-10 performance this spring. Her efforts helped Tulsa win its second straight tournament and its third in four events this spring. This is the second honor for Fuchik this spring as she also won the award on Feb. 27.
