Norman, Okla. - University of Tulsa senior golfer Brett Myers was named to the PING Division I Honorable Mention All-America team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Myers had seven top-15 performances and finished among the top-5 in four tournaments this season. He earned first-team all-Conference USA accolades, was named to the all-Central Region team and was selected to the five-member C-USA All-Academic team.

He was twice named C-USA Golfer of the Week this year, after his third-place performance at the Tucker Invitational and his first-place finish at the Rio Pinara Invitational. Myers was named the Golf World National Player of the Week for his win at the Rio Pinara Intercollegiate. He also finished in second place at the 2007 C-USA Championships.

Myers completed the season with a team-leading 72.1 stroke average in 41 rounds.
