UTEP's Colby Lindsay was named a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar for the second year in a row on Thursday.

A native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Lindsay completed his eligibility this past season. He led the Miners with a 73.1 stroke average as a senior, finishing in the top 20 at four tournaments.

Juniors and seniors with a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better are eligible for the honor. A stroke average below 76.0 is also required.

A biology major, Lindsay was previously chosen to the Conference USA Men's Golf All-Academic Team. He was also appointed to the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and received a Conference USA Academic Medal.
