BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB men's soccer team will host walk-on tryouts on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 3:30 p.m. at West Campus Field. Any currently-enrolled UAB students interested in trying out for a spot on the 2006 Blazers are invited to attend.

UAB is coming off a 10-7-1 campaign in which it finished third in Conference USA. Coach Mike Getman and the blazers have to fill a void left by four seniors who depart from last year's team including Leandro de Oliveira, a first-round draft pick of the MLS's New England Revolution.
