BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The kickoff time for the Wednesday, April 5 men's soccer exhibition contest between UAB and the Atlanta Silverbacks has been moved up one hour from 7 p.m. CT to 6 p.m. CT, UAB head coach Mike Getman announced today. The time was moved at the Silverback's request.

The match against the United Soccer League first division professional team will take place at West Campus Field. The Silverbacks feature recently-signed rookies Jason McLaughlin and Maurice Hughes, both standout seniors on last season's UAB squad. Former Blazer standout Tony McManus is also on the Silverback's roster.
