DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU men's soccer schedule for the 2007 fall season has been released. It features five NCAA Tournament teams from the 2006 season, including national champions UC-Santa Barbara. Additional teams include Virginia (NCAA semifinals), Washington (second round), Saint Louis (second round), and UAB (first round).

SMU will participate in two tournaments during non-conference play, hosting the SMU Mi Cocina Classic, Sept. 7 and 9 (Tulsa, Virginia, Georgetown), and the New Mexico Tournament (vs. UCSB, vs. Washington), Sept. 14 and 16, in Albuquerque, N.M.

SMU opens the 2007 campaign at home, hosting Saint Louis on Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

The Mustangs, who reached the second round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament, open Conference USA play at Tulsa on Sept. 29. The 2007 Conference USA Championship is scheduled for Nov. 14-18 at UAB in Birmingham, Ala.
