The U.S. will face Brazil in Miami on Wed., June 16, before departing for three matches in Korea. The U.S. will play Brazil, Korea and Poland before returning to the States on Sunday, June 27. Both DiRaimondo and John spent time earlier this year with the U.S. squad in January and February, respectively.
Meanwhile, SLU All-America forward Vedad Ibisevic is training with the Bosnian Under-21 National Team for an upcoming match with Slovenia. In February, Ibisevic represented his native country against Macedonia.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for our guys to continue to mature and develop as players in an international environment," Billikens head coach Dan Donigan said. "That's an atmosphere that can't be replicated here during the spring or summer."
