NOTING THE POLLS
Conference USA had multiple teams nationally-ranked in nine different weeks in 1999. Saint Louis and UAB both finished ranked in the top 10 of the NSCAA poll, marking the first time that C-USA had a pair of teams finish in the top 10 in a final poll of a season. Earlier in the season, Cincinnati was ranked for four weeks, while South Florida was in the polls for one week.
