Billikens Host Four Spring Games
ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis University men's soccer program will host four
spring matches at Robert R. Hermann Stadium on the University campus
beginning with Drake on Sat., April 1, at 1 p.m.
"This is the time of year when a young team like our own can make great
strides," said Billikens head coach Bob Warming. "We will have the
chance to see some players at different positions and give some
experience to people who didn't get much time on the field last fall."
The spring schedule features the Bronze Boot rivalry with
SIU-Edwardsville. The Billikens have won the last 15 in a row. The final
spring date on April 15 features a triple header with Saint Louis
playing Bradley and Southwest Missouri State in a pair of 60-minute
contests sandwiched around Bradley facing SMS.
The Billikens were regular-season Conference USA co-champions in 1999.
In Warming's three years directing the program, Saint Louis has won the
C-USA regular-season title or post-season tournament championship each
year.
