Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's soccer head coach Tom McIntosh announced today the signing of Jeovahnni Sandez to a National Letter-of-Intent. Sandez joins an already impressive 2007 freshman class of Bryan Hicks, Ashley McInnes, Zach Nulisch, John Supica and Chris Taylor.

"Jeovahnni is a very skillful and technically gifted forward," McIntosh said. "He is creative on the dribble, a good passer and can score goals. He will fit perfectly into our system."

Sandez, a three-year letterwinner at Montgomery High School, posted 22 career goals. He was selected as a three-time all-Southbay first-team member, earned all-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) first-team accolades as a senior and was named the 2007 Southbay Player of the Year. Most recently, Sandez assisted his Nomads Soccer Club team to a victory in the prestigious 2007 Red Bull NL 17.
