Charlotte Men's Soccer Leaves On European Trip

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team will travel to Germany and Holland on their preseason trip, August 1-10.
The team leaves Charlotte for Amsterdam, Holland, August 1. In Holland, they will visit Eindhoven, the fifth largest city in the Netherlands and Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, they will visit the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House.
The 49ers will practice daily and play two matches against teams from Holland.
The Highlight of the Holland portion of the trip will be watching two pro soccer matches at Ajax's Amsterdam Arena. The team watched Ajax, Manchester United, Lazio and Barcelona play during their trip to the Stadium.
Then, on August 6 the team will travel to Heidelberg, Germany. In Germany, they also will practice daily and play two matches against German teams.
They will go sight-seeing in Heidelberg, Kaiserslautern, Speyer and Frankfurt during their trip to Germany.
The 49ers will return to Charlotte from Frankfurt,Germany, August 10.
Various players will be talking about their time in Europe on the website while the team is abroad.
