IRVING, Texas - Kentucky landed the first tournament title of the 2010 season for a C-USA squad as the Wildcats topped IUPUI by a 1-0 decision to claim the UKIT title. UAB took a 3-1 victory over Virginia Tech at the Virginia Classic as senior Anthony King scored twice for the Blazers.

Bringing Kentucky a 1-0 win over IUPUI and helping the Wildcats to claim the UKIT title, freshman Jordan Rose (Englewood, Ohio) netted his first career goal while fellow rookie Tyler Beadle (Douglasville, Ga.) worked his second consecutive clean sheet to start his collegiate career. Rose and Beadle were joined on the UKIT All-Tournament team by fellow freshmen Tyler Riggs (Louisville, Ky.) and Dylan Asher (Richardson, Texas) to end the weekend and send Kentucky into the 2010 season with a 2-0 record.

Senior forward Anthony King (Huntsville, Ala.) scored a pair of goals to lead the UAB men's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Virginia Tech on Sunday during the final day of the Virginia Classic. The multi-goal performance by King was the first of his career as he tallied two goals in the first half in a span of less than five minutes. Junior standout Babayele Sodade (Windsor, Ontario) netted the Blazers' third goal of the match in the 70th minute.
