OVERTIME 49ERS
Six of Charlotte's first 11 matches this season have gone to double overtime. The 49ers' school record for double overtime matches is seven, set in 1991.

GETTING IT DONE
In UAB's current six match winning streak, four of the six matches have been decided by one goal.

GREAT STARTS
Saint Louis' 9-0-0 start is its best since 1979, when it also won its first nine matches of the season.

CHARLOTTE
Six different Wake Forest players scored in an 8-1 victory over Charlotte on Oct. 10. MIRA MUPIER scored in his fifth straight match, tallying a goal just four minutes into the second half that cut it to 2-1, before Wake would score three times in the following five minutes. Charlotte returns to action on October 17 when it hosts nationally-ranked North Carolina.

CINCINNATI
Cincinnati suffered a 4-0 loss to No. 4 Saint Louis on Oct. 13. The Billikens put the match away with three second half goals. Statistically, the Bearcats held the edge in both shots (13-10) and corner kicks (10-2). UC drops to 2-4-2 in matches in which they hold a shots advantage over their opponents. Cincinnati hosts Bowling Green on Wednesday.

DE PAUL
DePaul used two goals in the final 10 minutes of the match to turn back East Carolina, 2-1 on Oct. 13. JONATHAN FOLEY and ROBERT MARSHALL scored DePaul's goals, while JEFF KLITZKE recorded eight saves on 17 ECU shots. The Blue Demons face local rival Loyola-Chicago on Wednesday.

EAST CAROLINA
Visiting East Carolina was unable to hold off DePaul, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Blue Demons on Oct. 13. BRIAN DEUTSCH had his second goal in as many matches. ECU travels to Louisville on Thursday. The Pirates have five of their last six matches at home.

LOUISVILLE
Louisville lost its second straight one-goal match when No. 8 UAB beat the Cardinals, 2-1 on Oct. 13. Freshman RICHARD PELL had the first goal of his career. JEREMY MORALES recorded two saves. Louisville hosts Drury on Monday.

MARQUETTE
Marquette bounced back from its Oct. 11 1-0 loss to East Carolina with a 2-1 victory over visiting Memphis on Oct. 14. Junior forward JEFF GERLESITS scored the first goal of the match in the sixth minute of action. Memphis scored the tying goal at the 24 minute mark, and ERIC MARSHALL retaliated one minute later for the Golden Eagles. MU held Memphis to two shots on goal in the last 45 minutes.

MEMPHIS
Marquette defeated Memphis, 2-1 on Oct. 14 in Milwaukee. LARS THORSTENSEN posted the Tigers' goal, while CLARK TALLEY recorded five saves in goal. However, the MU defense held Memphis to just four shots on goal the entire match. Memphis visits No. 8 UAB on Wednesday.

SAINT LOUIS
No. 4 Saint Louis is off to its best start since 1979 (9-0-0) after a 4-0 victory over Cincinnati on Oct. 13. DIPSY SELOLWANE has scored in all nine Billiken games, the best goal-scoring streak since Steve Sullivan scored in 11 consecutive games during the 1979 season. Goalkeeper JOHN POLITIS had nine saves in the shutout en route to Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week laurels. Saint Louis hosts South Florida on Saturday.

SOUTH FLORIDA
No. 18 South Florida defeated UNC Greensboro, 2-1 in overtime but lost to No. 9 North Carolina, 5-0 at the UNC Greensboro Tournament last weekend. USF is now 4-1 against teams from North Carolina this season. Junior BRIAN MULLINS had the game-winning goal against UNC Greensboro and added an assist on the Bulls' other score.

TCU
MATT CHAMBERS' two goals helped TCU snap a five-match losing streak to defeat Centenary, 3-1 on Oct. 14. Chambers now leads the team with seven points on the season. He became the first TCU player with a multi-goal match this season. The match, which was originally scheduled for Shreveport, La., was played at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium due to heavy flooding in Louisiana. TCU visits East Carolina on Sunday.

UAB
No. 8 UAB posted a pair of 2-1 victories over Louisville and No. 13 Furman last weekend. The Blazers have now won six straight matches, four of which have been decided by one goal. UAB has now won all six of its home matches this season and has not lost at West Campus Field since the NCAA Tournament in 1999. This is the best 11-match record in school history. Furman was the last team to beat UAB in a regular season match at home, in Sept. of '99. The Blazers have not lost at home in their last 14 straight regular season home matches, going 12-0-2. FLAVIO MONTEIRO, the C-USA Offensive Player of the Week, had two goals and is now tied for 10th on UAB's career scoring list.
