Cincinnati's Cedergren and Clemente of UAB Named Men's Soccer Players of the Week

Cedergren scored the game-winning goal in the 70th minute to give the Bearcats 1-0 a win over Marquette on Saturday. The goal was his third of the season. Cedergren is the first defender to win the Offensive Player of the Week this season.

DEFENSIVE

Clemente recorded his second solo shutout of the season in Sunday's 2-0 win over South Florida, the Blazers fourth straight victory. He recorded three of his four saves in the second half, including a pair when UAB was leading, 1-0. This is the second time this season that Clemente has been named the Defensive Player of the Week.
