MAC NAMES TWO BILLIKENS
The Missouri Athletic Club has named Jason Cole and Jack Jewsbury of Saint Louis among the 15 candidates for its annual Player of the Year Award. Billiken freshman Brad Davis was named a "Player to Watch." The MAC Award is the official NSCAA/adidas Award for Division I soccer players.

Wiuth a win over Wisconsin-Green Bay last week, Marquette head coach STEVE ADLARD has tied Jerry Panek (1982-1991) as the winningest coach in Golden Eagle history at 97 victories. In nine seasons at the helm of Marquette, Adlard is 97-72-16 (.568).

TOUGH SCHEDULING
Conference USAs nine teams are split among the Great Lakes, Midwest and South Regions in the NSCAA regional rankings. Of the 25 non-C-USA teams that are currently regionally-ranked in these three regions, Conference USA has already faced 17 in non-conference play, with three more scheduled for later in the season. C-USA has posted victories against seven of these opponents (with two ties), including wins over the No. 1 (North Carolina), No. 2 (South Carolina) and No. 3 teams in the South Region and the No. 2 team (Creighton) in the Midwest Region.
